Most of my clients are good at understanding themselves, but that's not the problem. The problem is that understanding hasn't moved the thing that needs to move. They've done talk therapy, read widely, and built careers that look successful, yet something still feels managed rather than alive. The anxiety comes back, the same relationship dynamic shows up with a different person, and disconnection persists.
That's not a failure of insight, but insight alone is not enough. These patterns aren't held in your thinking; they're held in your body, in responses your nervous system learned when they were necessary. That's where this work operates.
I'm a certified Somatic Experiencing Practitioner (SEP), trained through Peter Levine's three-year professional program, and I currently serve as a Teaching Assistant with Somatic Experiencing International, helping train other SE practitioners. I'm also an ICF-credentialed PCC-level coach, IFS Level 1-trained, a certified TRE (Trauma Release Exercises) provider, and trained in the Rythm of Regulation with Deb Dana.
Before I came to this role, I spent 15 years consulting at Accenture, Deloitte, and independently, based in Brisbane, Amsterdam, Singapore, and Melbourne. I completed an Executive Master's in Change at INSEAD. I've supported individuals, parents, couples, people navigating separation/divorce, and senior leaders at Google, Microsoft, McKinsey, SAP, BHP, and Rio Tinto. I know what it's like to perform well under pressure while quietly running on empty, and I know how high-achieving people can be skilled at managing themselves right past what actually needs attention.
My work draws on Somatic Experiencing, Somatic Resilience & Regulation (through Kathy Kain), Internal Family Systems, Attachment theory, and Integral Coaching. I see clients in person at Melbourne Integrated Therapies in Thornbury and online for clients in Australia and internationally.
Areas of focus:
- Anxiety, burnout, and chronic stress in high-performing professionals
- Complex trauma and C-PTSD
- Relational patterns and attachment wounds
- Imposter Syndrome and the Highly Sensitive Person
- Life and career transitions
- Nervous system regulation and embodied self-leadership
