~ Integrative Psychotherapist ~
My approach to this work is informed by many traditions and, above all, by the person sitting across from me. I aim to offer a trustworthy and respectful space from which the full complexity of your experience can be explored with honesty and without judgment. In practice, this often means slowing down together, noticing not just what’s said, but what’s felt in your body as you say it, and paying attention to what arises with compassion and curiosity. I support people exploring and processing grief and loss, identity shifts, relational challenges, persistent patterns that no longer serve, and deeper questions about meaning or direction.
I believe our emotions aren’t obstacles to work around, but sources of valuable information, particularly when they’re challenging, painful or unpleasant. Learning to listen to them, and to hold what is difficult without turning away, builds a stronger connection with yourself. That, in turn, can help you build better relationships with others and live with greater clarity about your own values and place in the world.
Therapy is tailored collaboratively to your unique experience and needs, including as they shift over time. I draw on a number of models and philosophies, including attachment-based and emotionally focused approaches, psychodynamic and somatic practices, to engage with your whole being: body, emotions, thoughts, relationships, and, when relevant, the spiritual or transpersonal dimensions of life.
I also work from a strengths-based perspective: recognising what’s already working so you can carry it into the parts of life that feel harder to reach.
If any of this resonates, I’d be glad to hear from you.
I offer a free 15-minute consultation call to see if working together feels right. I’m currently taking new clients on Tuesdays, Fridays and Saturday mornings, with after-hours sessions also available. Sessions are $140 / 50 minutes (concession rates available), offered both in person and via telehealth.
