Anne Gollan

- Psychotherapist, Couples and Family Therapist, Creative Arts, Play and Somatic Therapist -

Anne Gollan is an experienced, trauma-informed therapist who works holistically, considering each person’s full story and tailoring her approach to meet their unique needs. She holds a Master of Drama Therapy from the University of Melbourne, and her work is informed by Internal Family Systems (IFS) and systemic family therapy principles.

With a professional background spanning over three decades, beginning with a Bachelor of Acting from the University of Southern Queensland and a Diploma in Creative Dance, Anne brings depth, creativity, and embodied understanding to her therapeutic work. She has also trained in crisis intervention through Lifeline and has extensive experience supporting individuals through periods of overwhelm, trauma, and transition.

Anne integrates somatic, narrative, and creative arts methodologies to help clients access the wisdom they already hold within. Grounded in the belief that the body holds our stories, she uses movement, play, storytelling, and dramatic exploration as powerful pathways toward insight, healing, and transformation.

Drawing from both professional training and lived experience, Anne is deeply committed to creating a safe, compassionate space for exploration and growth. She works with individuals, couples, families, and groups, and is particularly passionate about family therapy. Anne approaches the family as a dynamic system, seeking to understand relational patterns and support meaningful and sustainable change within that system.

Her areas of expertise include:

- trauma-informed therapy,

- crisis intervention,

- play-based and drama therapy,

- family and couple work,

- group facilitation,
