Chrissy (she/her) is a holistic therapist qualified in counselling, psychotherapy, and yoga therapy. She works with both individuals and couples and is professionally registered with the Psychotherapy and Counselling Federation of Australia (PACFA).
At the heart of Chrissy’s practice is a genuine commitment to forming a collaborative relationship with her clients where they feel seen, heard, and understood. Her warm, welcoming, and compassionate presence creates a safe, supportive environment for clients to share and explore their inner world.
Based on her client's goals or intentions for therapy, Chrissy carefully considers their unique needs and offers a personalised therapeutic approach. This creates a sense of direction and purpose for sessions while still remaining open to spontaneity. Chrissy gently guides her clients to explore what is beneath the surface, understand their thoughts, feelings, and emotions, and identify any old patterns holding them back to gain clarity and find a positive way forward.
As an integrative therapist, Chrissy incorporates a range of therapeutic approaches, including experiential, attachment-focused, and trauma-informed therapies, to best support her clients' healing and growth. Drawing from her extensive background in yoga, she also offers breathing exercises, meditation, mindfulness, and somatic practices to nurture clients' mind-body connection, help with nervous system regulation, and enhance overall well-being.
Chrissy wholeheartedly believes that positive change is possible for everyone and is dedicated to guiding, supporting, and equipping her clients with valuable resources to live more connected, fulfilling and meaningful lives.
