Chrissy Clarke

- Counsellor, Psychotherapist & Yoga Teacher

Chrissy (she/her) offers a warm, welcoming space for individuals and couples to deepen self-awareness and create meaningful change through a somatic, attachment-focused, and trauma-informed approach to therapy. She is a qualified counsellor, psychotherapist, and yoga therapist, professionally registered with the Psychotherapy and Counselling Federation of Australia (PACFA).

At the heart of Chrissy’s practice is creating a therapeutic relationship where clients can share their inner world within a safe, supportive environment and feel seen, heard, and understood.

By gently guiding clients to explore their thoughts, emotions, experiences, patterns, and underlying needs, Chrissy supports them in gaining clarity and finding a positive way forward. Based on each client's goals and intentions for therapy, she personalises each session to their unique needs, creating a sense of direction and purpose while remaining open to whatever naturally emerges throughout the therapeutic process.

Therapy with Chrissy is a collaborative and exploratory process. Together, she and her clients develop a shared understanding of what has brought them to therapy and identify the work that will best support their healing and growth. This may include strengthening attachment security, somatic work, or working through unresolved trauma. Drawing from her extensive background in yoga, Chrissy also weaves in breathing practices, meditation and mindfulness to nurture the mind-body connection, support nervous system regulation, and enrich overall well-being.

Chrissy wholeheartedly believes that positive change is possible for everyone and is dedicated to guiding, supporting, and equipping her clients with valuable resources to live more connected, fulfilling and meaningful lives.

She openly welcomes clients of all cultures, neurotypes, genders, sexualities, and relationship structures.
