Clara Pizzorno

Clara Pizzorno (she/her) is a warm, down-to-earth integrative psychotherapist who works with adults and teens (15+), offering sessions in both English and Spanish.

Her approach blends trauma-informed, somatic, and mindfulness-based practices with a deep respect for each person’s inner wisdom and lived experience. Clara draws from a variety of therapeutic modalities, including body-oriented and contemplative psychotherapy, Emotion-Focused Therapy (EFT), mentalization, psychodynamic psychotherapy, and CBT, to support meaningful, lasting, and embodied change.

Clara is deeply committed to creating spaces of safety, trust, and cultural awareness, where her clients feel welcomed, heard, and held. Her practice is grounded in presence, curiosity, and care, shaped by a deep commitment to trauma healing, personal growth, and mindful living.

Originally from Argentina, Clara worked as a Child Psychologist before migrating to Australia nearly 10 years ago. Her early career included supporting children on the autism spectrum and those with physical disabilities, working in hospitals, and delivering mindfulness and social-emotional learning programs for students and school staff. Today, she focuses her work on supporting adults, parents, and youth, while continuing to honour her background in developmental and systemic approaches.

Clara has a particular interest in supporting those navigating grief, illness, neurodivergence, migration and reacculturation, spiritual questioning, relationship anxiety, parenting challenges, and post-cult recovery. She also has both personal and professional experience working with families affected by BPD. Her approach is further enriched by over a decade of mindfulness and yoga practice, as well as ongoing professional training in mental health. These practices inform her grounded, body-aware approach to emotional regulation, resilience, and healing.

In addition to her psychotherapy work, Clara works as a youth counsellor in the not-for-profit sector, helping young people navigate mental health challenges such as suicidal ideation and self-harm.

Clara offers in-person and online sessions Thursdays to Saturdays, and online after-hours sessions Monday to Wednesday. She offers a flexible sliding-scale pricing structure to accommodate financial needs, and is dedicated to creating compassionate and flexible spaces that aim to make her clients feel safe, understood, and empowered.
