Sara is a qualified counsellor and integrative psychotherapist who works with somatic practices and Internal Family Systems principles. Her natural warmth, humour and compassion helps clients connect to a deeply felt sense of themselves, empowering them to find their own steps towards lasting change.
Using an experiential approach informed by attachment and trauma-informed therapies Sara supports clients to navigate the challenges and complexities they face with clarity and groundedness to find relief. With a collaborative relationship at the heart of her approach, Sara helps clients live a life that is fulfilling and meaningful to them.
Sara has a profound commitment to creating a safe, supportive and non-judgemental space in which people can fully experience being seen, heard and understood. Sara tailors every session to an individual’s unique needs, supporting clients to connect and attune to their most authentic self.
Focusing on a person’s internal resources, Sara integrates the wisdom of the body, the ‘felt sense’, with compassionate curiosity. Sara’s work is holistic and grounded in the belief that each of us has the capacity for growth, healing and transformation.
Sara works with and welcomes people from all backgrounds and walks of life.
She is also a facilitator, educator and committed to mindfulness and meditation practices, as well as her own therapy and supervision as part of her self-care. Sara is professionally registered with the Australian Counselling Association (ACA – L2).
